The applicant should be a holder of Bachelor of Accountancy Honours Degree, Business Studies/Finance.  The ideal candidate should have at least three years post qualification experience in a bookkeeping/accounting position and be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in the application of Pastel Evolution and MS Excel.  Knowledge of creditors and purchasing procedures is an added advantage. 
 
Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Librarian, the duties of the Administrative Assistant/Senior Administrative shall include: 

•	Maintaining a conductive study and work environment in the Main Library
•	Stock control of materials and consumables in the Library
•	Library financial accounting 
•	Procurement of consumables 
•	Processing of payment to local and foreign creditors
•	Reconciling creditors statements and accounts
•	Handling of cash collected in the Library
•	Liaising with clearing agents on Library incoming goods
•	Any other duties as may be allocated by the Librarian.

The applicant should be a holder of at least a Masters Degree in Library and Information Sciences/Studies or equivalent and a Bachelor of Science Honours in Library and Information Science Degree both from recognised and reputable institutions.  He/she must be an accomplished manager with a vision, knowledge and skills to develop, organise and manage the day to day activities of the Library at the forefront of technological advances and Information Communication Technologies (ICTs), including the effective use of electronic resources and the virtual digital library system.  Interested candidates should have a firm appreciation of 21st century librarianship.  Evidence of research and publications in related disciplines are desirable.   The desired candidate must have at least six years post qualification working experience in a senior academic library management position.

Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Librarian, the duties of the Deputy Librarian, Learning and User Experience shall include: 

•	Day-to-day library administration 
•	Staff performance management
•	Communication and marketing of library products and services
•	Evidence based training and instructional services 
•	Modernisation of library space and facilities
•	Library policy formulation and implementation 
•	Fundraising and grant proposal writing for the Library
•	Overseeing community services and outreach programmes

The applicant must be a holder of at least a Bachelor of Science Degree in either Chemistry, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or Food Science from an institution recognized by the University of Zimbabwe.  A postgraduate qualification in Analytical Chemistry is an added advantage.  Relevant post- qualification experience in running a Laboratory Quality Management System (LC-MS), Pharmaceutical Analysis, and method development is essential.

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate would be responsible for:
♣	Running an LC-MS Laboratory.
♣	Setting up a Quality Management System for laboratories in the School of Pharmacy.
♣	Maintenance of equipment in a Pharmaceutical Analysis laboratory.
♣	Assisting postgraduate students and researchers in running LC-MS and other analyses.
♣	Sample preparation and running LC-MS of samples and other responsibilities as assigned by the Laboratory Director.
